Day 2

On to day 3— Day 2 did get a little bit better with the help of some Tylenol and a good night’s sleep. 

When I got home, I was SO inclined to go for a run. Really, I was. But then I couldn’t find my iPod. So I was forced to do about 30 minutes of Just Dance on the Wii until the BF came home to help me look.

iPod in hand, I headed down to the gym with less resolve, but still managed to do a run/walk combo and cover about 2.5 miles. That’s not the 3 miles I was hoping for on my training schedule but I’ll take it!

Daily Eats:

Breakfast
4 mini vegetable quiche cups
6 oz spicy tomato juice

Snack
Low fat cheese stick

Lunch
1 cup Lentil Soup
Sugar Free Jello
1 wedge Laughing Cow Cheese
Celery

Snack
30 pistachios

Dinner
Tablespoon peanut butter (I was STARVING when I got home, and this is when I thought I was headed right to the gym)
Leftover Chicken Breast from Wednesday’s dinner
Leftover surprise mashed potatoes from Wednesday’s dinner

Snack
Sugar Free Jello

Not too shabby! I wasn’t sure if Peanut Butter was allowed on South Beach, but it’s listed in the “foods to enjoy” in phase 1 section. I’m going to limit it to 1 TBS max per day, but it’s always been one of my favorite favorite foods. I even took 3 extra large jars to Italy with me when I studied abroad.
