Dang my legs are killing me. Another 12 x 200 workout this morning plus Bar Method tonight has left me wobbly to say the least! I guess that’s a good thing, but walking down the escalators at the metro I was cursing under my breath!
This week is a big week—I can go to Phase 2 of the South Beach Diet if I’d like! I’m officially done with the two week intro period on Wednesday. To be honest I haven’t had any cravings for bread or grains or potatoes, so I think I’ll continue to steer clear of those bad boys. I do think I’ll be reintroducing fruit, wine, dark chocolate and sweet potatoes back in :)
My menus are already planned out through the weekend so I’ll probably stick to Phase 1 until then. Here’s what’s on tap food-wise:

Already drooling over the goodness—all thanks to some serious grocery shopping with my main man Trader Joe’s. So happy they’re in the neighborhood now-I can’t remember the last time I thought “oh yeah, let me buy shrimp, I can swing that cost.”
Moving on to the fun stuff: Workouts! Not. I don’t think I’ll ever be a super athlete, but I do like the feeling AFTER I’ve finished working out….I just feel so accomplished. Here’s what I’ve got planned:
