1 Month

It’s been a month on South Beach, and I haven’t:

-eaten a piece of bread
-had a soda
-had anything fried
-had icecream or fro-yo

And what I have:

-started grocery planning on a regular basis
-cooked 90%+ of all of my meals
-stuck to a pretty aggressive workout regimen
-lost almost 8 pounds

Yes, almost. I have a feeling all of that wine in NYC and some baking I’ve been doing for my team didn’t help this week’s weigh in. Down another .4 pounds, which brings the grand total to 7.8 pounds. Frustrating, but still in the right direction. I guess I just need to buckle down to see more than half a pound loss each week!

I am excited though because I’m getting close to that 10 pound mark— just 2.2 more and that facial is mine!

How do you keep yourself motivated when things aren’t going as smoothly as hoped?
